Behind the Game with Theadora Rabman – Junior Powerhouse

Team Solinco : Junior Spotlight

It’s been a stellar season for 17-year old New Yorker, Theadora Rabman. The junior powerhouse has been racking up titles on the circuit. Last year, Rabman was the Girls 16’s Champion at Easter Bowl, the prestigious junior elite tournament. This past April, Rabman captured her second J2 junior tournament in Montreal

“I think the most memorable tournament I played this year was Indian wells. I was fortunate enough to get a wild card into the tournament. It was a great experience and so much fun.”

Rabman also made her second appearance at the US Open Junior Championships and reached the quarter finals at Easter Bowl in San Diego back in March.

Originally from Long Island, Rabman trained at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy where she honed a variety of shots that continue to flummox her opponents. Currently, Rabman is ranked #2 in the U.S. and #57 in the world, and holds an 11-5 record against other Blue Chip players.

Today, Rabman’s confidence is at an all-time high and she is just getting started. Looking forward, she’ll play Division 1 tennis for the Tar Heels at the University of North Carolina.

Rabman joined Team Solinco in 2021, playing with the Blackout racquet and Hyper-G.

“The Solinco Blackout has been a game changer for me. I feel I have more control over the ball, plus a lot more power.”
