Brad Stine, born on December 25, 1958, in San Mateo, California, is a distinguished American tennis coach whose career spans over three decades, marked by strategic brilliance and a profound impact on the sport. He began his coaching journey in 1986 with the USTA Junior National Team, working alongside notable players such as Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, and Jim Courier. Stine’s collegiate coaching tenure at Fresno State University led the team to its first Top 20 NCAA Division I national ranking, earning him Big West Coach of the Year honors in 1990 and 1991. Transitioning to professional coaching, he guided Jim Courier to four Grand Slam titles and the World No. 1 ATP ranking. Stine also coached Kevin Anderson to the 2018 Wimbledon final and a career-high World No. 5 ranking. Since 2020, he has been coaching Tommy Paul, contributing significantly to Paul’s rise in the ATP rankings.
